Anthony Davis Makes a Statement of Promise to LeBron James Ahead of The NBA Playoffs

LeBron James and Anthony Davis clinched the top seed in the Western Conference, and the Lakers big man made a promise right ahead of the NBA playoffs. The Lakers won just two games inside the bubble. Although these losses won’t affect their standings, NBA fans have started asking questions. The Lakers suffered a 0-3 losing streak inside the bubble. They lost the game to the Indiana Pacers. T.J. Warren finished the game with 39 points. He didn’t score in the second quarter and this only shows that the Lakers have made some improvements on their offense.

Some analysts criticized the Lakers after the loss. LA was the best team in the West before the hiatus. However, they are 2-4 in the seeding games. Many would agree that this is a disappointing development for Lakers head coach Frank Vogel. But, it looks like LA has a plan.

King James is used to this criticism. He’s been receiving it ever since he entered the NBA. This won’t stop him from winning his fourth ring. LeBron is determined to return home as a champion.

Anthony Davis makes a promise

The four-time NBA MVP took to his Instagram stories to share his take on the losing streak.

“Never concern yourself about the losses/bad performances everyone tends to see,” LeBron wrote. “It’s more about the work you put in when no one is watching.”

The king tagged Davis, Quinn Cook and J.R. Smith on the story.

Davis is in his first year with the Lakers. He didn’t have any trouble adjusting to the system. The Lakers big man has an excellent chemistry with LeBron. This chemistry has helped the Lakers make the top in the conference.

Davis has an amazing impact for the team. In the first seeding game in Orlando, Davis scored 34 points and eight rebounds. Although it looks like Davis lost his touch in the final seeding games, he is ready to prove doubters wrong.

“Ima get it back my dawg! I promise you that!!” he wrote and shared LeBron’s post on his Instagram.

The Lakers play the Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings in the next two games. LeBron and Davis is ready for the NBA playoffs.
