Cam Newton Shows Off Dance Moves at Patriots Training Camp Practice

Freshly signed quarter back Cam Newton showed off some of his nice dance moves at the New England Patriots training. The Patriots had their first padded practice of training camp today at the legendary Gillette Stadium. Surprisingly, it was one of their newest additions that was able to bring the most engery.

Newton has been the center of attention for Patriot fans recently. He is likely going to be the start after legend Tom Brady left for Tampa Bay. He is going up against Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer for the starting job and things are officially heating up.

While waiting for the next drill, Newton was happy to show off some of his awesome dance moves. Check it out:

He is looking pretty good. Hopefully his excitment can translate to the field. Most are expecting to make a deep run in the playoffs this year. This would be huge. Last year was a pretty big disappointment for Patriots fans as they failed to even make the playoffs.

But it sound like things are looking pretty good. Many people think Newton will be a huge addition to the offense, which struggled heavily last year.

Head coach Bill Belichick talked about Newton in the past.

“Cam’s a hard-working kid. He really is. He’s worked very hard, I’d say, as all of our players have.

“I’d say that certainly for all the quarterbacks, at that position, those guys have been locked in, focused and confident in what they’re able to do and the information they have to give to the team — play-calling, adjustments, audibles, protection adjustments, things like that. That’s all going pretty well.”

“Cam has been a late addition, but he’s brought a lot of energy and, obviously, playing experience to our room. For him, it’s catching up on the specifics of the Patriots system, terminology and so forth, which he’s worked extremely hard at. Brian Lewerke is a college free agent quarterback that is also in the room and is a developmental-type player. It’s a good group.”
