Charles Barkley Makes Bold Claim on 2020 NBA MVP Competition

Charles Barkley talked about the 2020 MVP. The NBA playoffs bubble is in full swing. The Los Angeles Lakers are working towards a first round win. But it was not always so easy. Many people thought that they were in trouble. This came after a very sad first game in which the Lakers struggled heavily.

But it is not over yet. The Lakers are very much looking towards getting back on track after a sketchy start.

No Charles Barkley has given his insight on the matter. He is even willing to go out on a limb.

“If Kawhi is able to win his third MVP in the finals, he might be right behind LeBron,” he said.

Barkley has previously ripped the Lakers, most notably Anthony Davis.

“I still think it’s going to come down to Anthony Davis,” he said, talking about their ability to beat the Clippers in the playoffs. “And I don’t know if he’s got that dog in him.”

“You need to have a guy who say, ‘Hey, I’m just gonna kill y’all, ain’t nothing y’all can do about it. If y’all don’t double me I’m going to go crazy. If ya’ll double me, we going to get wide-open threes.’ Anthony Davis has not proven to me that he can be that guy.”

Davis struggled a lot previously. But luckily, he was able to get it take care of before the Lakers got down too much. LeBron and Anthony Davis are all stars and eventual legends. They are no doubt able to take any team down if they have their minds set to that challenge.

The challenge will be to keep their heads straight as well as keeping the rest of their team on track. LeBron is the obviously captain of this team. He is the captain of the NBA in some respects. However, he and the team should be able to get back on track and bring a title back to Los Angeles.

The Lakers should be able to get back on track before the losses.
