Danny Green Blasts Leaked Misinformation From Player Meetings

Los Angeles guard Danny Green has come out blasting the leaked misinformation from media members about the player meetings. The Los Angeles Lakers were supposed to be done with the Portland Trail Blazers by now. In fact, the entire first round of the NBA playoffs were supposed to be wrapping up by this point. Instead, the players have been boycotting once again.

James Blake, a black man, was shot 7 times in the back on the way to his vehicle. The NBA players, completely understandably, did not agree with this. For this, they boycotted the last few days. Many people disagreed with this. However, the NBA players stood strong, standing up for what they beileve in. Now, Lakers guard Danny Green wants to clear the air on what really happened.

Apparently, there is quite a bit of misinformation going on around the NBA world about what really happened. We all remember the meeting that was held on Wednesday night and Thursday night.

Things that are being said about this meeting are not correct, according to Green.

“I don’t know how all of that stuff gets out so fast, and not all of it’s correct information,” Green said.

“I mean, I don’t know what you guys have heard. I’ve heard many different stories of ‘LeBron said this, LeBron did that,’ (or) ‘so and so did this, so and so said that,’” Green said. “Most of it was untrue. I don’t know what you’ve heard and what you think is true or not, everybody has different opinions.”

He even goes on. He obviously did not like what was going around recently.

“It wasn’t as crazy as everybody made it seem. (The) details aren’t as drastic.”

“The things you’ve heard that certain people said that were negative weren’t like that. But there were some things said. Some people felt that there was some disrespect going on. And it was checked,” Green went on.

The NBA has a lot to get caught up on. The Lakers are one of the biggest favorites to win the NBA title this year. The misinformation that is being spread from the media could hurt them on their way to victory.
