Karl Malone Fiercely Fires Back at Lebron James’ Critics

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is in his 17th NBA season and he plays elite basketball. Many would agree that LeBron is the greatest of all time but he still receives a dose of criticism every time he makes an appearance. Hall of Famer Karl Malone stepped in defense of LeBron, and a lot of athletes will agree with him.

LeBron has received a level of criticism that doesn’t fit his great career. this criticism undervalues his impressive career. Malone talked about this during his interview with The Dan Patrick Show a few seasons ago. Malone said he believes LeBron is the most talented player he has ever seen on the floor. The Hall of Famer doesn’t understand why doubters don’t appreciate LeBron and honor his great achievement.

“I think LeBron James is the most talented player I’ve ever seen. Sometimes you will hear people make a statement, but they don’t back it up with nothing. Let me explain it to you. LeBron James is about 6’8″, about 265 pounds and I would say to do the things he could do, we will never see it again. For all those haters out there, sit back and enjoy—every now or then, you see a player that comes through like that.”

Karl Malone understands LeBron

LeBron helped the Cleveland Cavaliers win their first title. This championship win made people talk and everyone started comparing him to Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. King James has accomplished so much and his play on the floor is impressive.

Yes, there are still players who say Jordan is the GOAT. But, he shouldn’t be considered the gold standsrd. Every player is special in their own way, and LeBron has made the top of many lists. It’s a big achievement for the king of basketball, and he won’t stop here.

The veteran player is a step closer to his retirement, but he doesn’t even think of retiring at this point. LeBron will take the Lakers to the top, and he will soon win his fourth title. The Lakers will finish the season inside the Orlando bubble but LeBron doesn’t mind any of that.
