Key Lakers Player Listed Questionable Ahead of Tip-Off Against The Oklahoma City Thunder

The Lakers are taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Los Angeles Lakers have secured the number one seed for the Western Conference Playoffs. But there is still a long way to go if they want to make it to the Finals for the first time in many, many years. If they want to continue their winning ways, they will need to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight.

This is the next seeding game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder. In just a few hours from now, the Lakers will step onto the court and try to pick up their third win in the bubble.

While it seemed like they were clear, the Lakers did not seem to pick up any new injuries. But sadly, it looks like there is yet another name on the Lakers’ injury list.

Dwight Howard has been a huge part of the Lakers success this year. He is obviously no longer in his prime but he is still a huge asset for the boys in purple. Most agree that he is a perfect fit for the Lakers this year.

This is combined with the fact that the Lakers are missing point guard Rajon Rondo to a fractured thumb. Head coach Frank Vogel talked about this previously.

“He’s definitely going to come back into the bubble very soon,” head coach Frank Vogel said. “I think he’s making his way to Florida tomorrow and will spend a certain period of time outside of the bubble before he’s reintegrated inside of the bubble.”

“We’re very confident that he’ll be able to get back and be a major factor for us in our playoff run,” Vogel said.

Luckily, the Lakers have a lot of players to fall back on, even with all of these players sitting out due to injuries.

Dion Waiters is one of those players. He explained what he tries to bring to the game.

“Me, it’s still just trying to be aggressive,” Waiters explained. “Be who I am. Attack, make plays for myself and others. I know my rhythm gonna come. I know my shot gonna fall eventually. But if I’m doing the little things right now, and just trying to get that rhythm and gain momentum into the playoffs, I’ll be fine. I’m not worried about my shot. I know that’s gonna fall eventually. And just continue to keep working. But I’m doing all the little things, getting to the basket, creating, just the little things.”

Do you think this is a big loss for the Lakers?
