Kyle Kuzma Shares Confident Message on How Lakers Can Even Series vs Trail Blazers

The Los Angeles Lakers are going into their second game vs the Portland Trail Blazers tonight. The first game was pretty disappointing. The Lakers were upset in quite a bit way and people across the NBA were pretty surprised.

Most thought that LA would be one of the favorites to win the title this year. So far, at least since the NBA bubble began, this has not been the case. Now they are looking for anything to use as inspiration.

Maybe that is all they need to bounce back in a big way in the second game. Sadly, it is going to take more than that. But that did not stop Kyle Kuzma from trying.

He shared a very confident message recently on how the Lakers can even the series against the Trail Blazers. He shared how he thinks the Lakers can easily get back on track.

Kyle Kuzma Shares Confident Message on How Lakers Can Even Series vs Trail Blazers

“If we can just calm down and take our time, because the shots are going to be there all series,” Kuzma said. “They want to crowd the paint, so we have to hit shots. You’ve got to erase your memory. That’s part of being confident. If you miss 10 in a row or make 10 in a row, you’ve got to forget about them and keep shooting.

“I like to say just shoot until you get hot. I think we have that capability.”

He went on to say “I slept good last night,” Kyle Kuzma said.

“It’s just basketball at the end of the day. Obviously it’s playoffs, it’s high pressure, but this is basketball, that’s kind of what I came up with over the last four months, this hiatus. You gotta just play the game, have fun and just play with a competitive spirit and a certain type of enthusiasm. When you do that, you go out there and after a game or you’re in bed you can say I did it all, gave all my effort, you can’t dwell on it.”

What do you think about what he had to say?
