Lakers’ LeBron James Emotionally Admits To ‘Missing the Hell Out of’ His Family

LeBron James has been doing his best to get the Lakers back on track after a 4 month break from the NBA. So far, they are 2-1 and most people agree that they are looking pretty good.

But hopefully LeBron can continue in the bubble. It sounds like he is very much missing his family so far, which should not come as a surprise.

“I miss the hell out of my family,” LeBron said. “My wife, my kids, my mother, and so on. It’s a huge challenge to be able to stay locked in because, at the end of the day when you get out on the floor, you have a job to do.

“Me personally, I have a job to do to continue to make this team go in the right direction,” he continued. “So I’m able to lock in on that and then at the same time, keep my family, keep my loved ones in my heart and in my mind as well.”

LeBron said that it is a big sacrifice that they are doing here by staying in the bubble. Sadly, this might be the only way the NBS could operate at all given the COVID situation.

NBA commisioner admitted what a big sacrifice this was for the players.

“It requires significant sacrifice from our players,” Silver said in a phone interview.

“From my standpoint, it’s going very well, and I’m cautiously optimistic that we’re on the right track. But I also recognize what we’re doing has not been done before, and the competition is just beginning. The real test will come when players are commingling, playing basketball without masks and without physical distancing.”

It sounds like the NBA thinks this can and will work. They also acknowledge that it is a huge sacrifice for the players and everyone else involved. It sounds like it is a big understaking.

What do you think about this whole bubble situation and what they players think? Do you think it can work for the reast of the season?
