Lakers Plan to Honor Kobe and Gianna Bryant in Tremendous Way During Playoffs

The Los Angeles Lakers are going to honor Kobe Bryant during the Playoffs. This year has been tough for everyone. It seems like no matter where we look, there is bad news every close by. This is starting to diminish but it is still hard to watch everyone going on.

The NBA decided in a bubble format and it has been working very well so far. Most tend to agree that the other professional sports leagues should do the same as this is the only way to ensure that there is not an outbreak of COVID-19.

But some are not as worried about this as others. In fact, the Lakers have decided to stop thinking about this and want to honor Kobe Bryant in the biggest way possible.

Bryant played a whopping 20 seasons with the Lakers and it is completely understandable that they want to honor him and his family.

LeBron James and Kobe Bryant

He was even theall-time leading scorer in NBA history in the guard category. During his time with the Lakers, he also went to the NBA Finals and had five championships.

There were many things about Kobe that made him stand out. Most revolved around his work ethic and dunks.

Maybe this can be a huge inspiration for the team going into the playoffs.

LeBron James talked about what his mindset is going into the playoffs this year.

“Me, personally, as far as mentally, I’m not in playoff-mode,” he said. “Physically, I’m getting there. I feel like my legs have gotten better and better, my game has improved more and more, I’m getting more and more comfortable with the bubble. But as far as the mental side of it, nah, I’m not there. Personally, I don’t think our team is there. But we will be. It’s a different type of mindset that you have to be in, but you don’t want to jump into it before you actually get there because it takes a lot — a lot of energy, a lot of effort.”

It seems like they are ready to go for the Playoffs. Hopefully they can continue to be successful and make it to the NBA finals.
