The Lakers can use another playmaker, shot creator and defender in the series against Portland. The return of Rondo may give the team enough motivation for the upcoming games. LA was nothing like the No. 1 seed of the Western Conference last night. Players made a few big mistakes, and finished the game with a loss.

Rondo has lost a step or two since his best days. However, he can still play elite basketball. Rondo has great playoff experience and the Lakers can definitely use it.
