That’s why Davis’ comeback on Saturday against the Pacers comes as a bit of a surprise. The 27-year-old has played in all five of the Lakers’ games inside the bubble so far.

Then again, the Lakers have lost two consecutive games. This might have been what motivated head coach Vogel to go with his superstars on Saturday. This team will need to build momentum entering the playoffs. And going into the postseason with a losing streak is not exactly ideal. That’s why Anthony Davis’ game time is being continued and James is coming back on the court.

After facing Indiana on Saturday, LA’s next game will be on Monday against the Denver Nuggets. They will close their regular season with a matchup against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.

Davis is pretty confident about his team, and he knows that his teammates are ready for the postseason. According to Davis, the defense is really great.
