LeBron James Called His Shot, And The “Chosen 1” Tattoo Remains Iconic

After his eighth-straight NBA Finals appearance in 2018, a Nike ad sent us back to the day LeBron showed us the new tattoo. With the works of CGI magic, Nike took us to St. Vincent-St.Mary’s High School. He was by far the biggest thing in the city. He was a prodigy.

LeBron James was a junior in high school at the time. Tests and schoolwork took a backseat at the time He became sort of a savoir for basketball as a whole. He got a tattoo that kind of emphasized how he felt about this.

If he was anything less than what people expected, it would have been looked at as failure. To his credit, he has surpassed legendary it seems. LeBron has become one of the top basketball players of all time. He was so sure of this that he got this tattoo as a teenager.

LeBron’s tattoos have a meaning and he is not holding back on letting us know what they are. It seems like we hear all the time about different tattoos. But this just goes to prove that they matter more than we think. What do you think about his tattoos?
