LeBron James Destroyed Jason Day’s Wife in Front-Row Collision Months After He Last Won PGA Championship

Jason Day and his wife Ellie had their night out without the kids. It was a wonderful December night, and the couple decided to watch a Cleveland Cavaliers game. LeBron James played his elite basketball months after the PGA championship was over. Day was in the front row.

Late in the fourth quarter, LeBron deflected a pass on defense and the ball was out of bounds. The king of basketball rushed to grab the ball and fell over the front row of seats. One of the spectators was injured. It was Jason Day’s wife, Ellie.

Day flew backward and LeBron fell over with his full weight. He landed on the lady and Jason rushed to help her. The other staff helped too. Ellie was concerned about her neck and the play was stopped. LeBron talked to the couple and asked if Ellie was okay. She was.

The medical personnel loaded Ellie on a stretcher and she was taken to a nearby hospital. Doctors confirmed the concussion.

Jason talked to media members two weeks after the 250-pound LeBron landed on his wife. Mike Golic and many others criticized Jason for not protecting his wife. His explanation was simple.

“All of a sudden, we see a ball come down and across and I go to kind of put my hand, because I, you know, thought it was going to go out-of-bounds and I was going to throw it back to someone,” Jason said. ” All of a sudden it comes flying from the side and no one knows what to do and he just jumps.

“It happened so quick, I’m going to do that? I’m not going to stop a 260-pound guy that’s 6-8 running full speed. Ellie took it like a champ, though. Once I saw her, she was on the ground, she was kind of freaking out a little bit about her neck and once they started doing the test on her, she’s moving her legs, hands, feet, arms, I knew everything was going to be okay.”

Jason and Ellie had no time to react. The lady was fine and discovered a brand new perspective on basketball. Well, now she knows how golf fans feel about wayward tee shots.
