LeBron James Gives Concerning Response When Asked About Activating Playoff Mode

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers should be in playoff mode. They are the number 1 seed in the 2020 playoffs and most though that they would be one of the favorites to win the title this year. At the very least, they should be able to get to the Western Conference finals.

Many people are starting to see the problems that the Lakers have currently, after losing the first game of round 1 against the Portland Trail Blazers. Some of the players have admitted that the team is having problems getting its head right for the playoffs.

One of the players that has been very vocal about how he feels in the bubble is none other than LeBron James. It wouldn’t be the first time that James has explained how he feels about the bubble.

One of the biggest issues is missing his family. He talked about this previously.

“I miss the hell out of my family,” he said. “My wife, my kids, my mother. And so on and so on. So, it’s a huge challenge.”

“It’s a totally different situation than any other situation I’ve been in in my career,” James said. “So I have zero experience with having the No. 1 seed inside of a bubble during seeding games, playing in August. So this is all a learning experience for all of us, and we’re going to take it day by day, continue to work our habits either out on the floor, during the film session, when we able to get on the floor as well. But this is a totally different season, a totally different, drastic situation for all of us, including myself.”

Well now he’s gone on to explain another reason why they might be struggling.

Though this does make sense, it seems odd that the Lakers are struggling to get back on track more than any other team. Why are the other teams doing so well? Do you think they will be able to get back on track? Hopefully they can.
