LeBron James Is Worth $480 Million But Still Has a Couple of Cheap Habits

LeBron James is worth a lot of money. The all star and NBA legend has made a lot of money during his time as a professional basketball player. And deservedly so. But just because he has and makes a lot of money, does not mean he likes to spend it.

It has come out recently that LeBron James is a bit of a penny pincher. As it turns out, he has quite a few cheap habits that people might not expect from a multimillionaire.

Not only this, but LeBron is also a great businessman. He has a share in Blaze Pizza which is one of the fastest growing restaurants ever. “LeBron and I have always been about finding companies that we truly believe in and putting real money into them,” Maverick Carter, LeBron’s business partner said. “We’re not talking putting in $15,000 or $20,000. It’s real money plus the expertise, understanding and knowledge that we bring as well as bringing LeBron’s name and likeness to the product.”

With all this money, people might assume that he loves to spend it all. But that is not necessarily the case.

It seems like LeBron does what he can too cut costs. “That is so falsely true,” James said while doing an interview with Dwayne Wade. “No. I’m not doing [using my phone without Wifi]. I’m not turning on data roaming. I’m not buying no apps. I still got Pandora with commercials.”

It’s always funny to hear about these millionaires doing what they can to save money. He could easily buy whatever he wants at any time and never have any problems. But that is not what he wants to do.

NBA players seem to get a back reputation about spending their money unwisely. Sometimes this is completely true. But when it comes to players like LeBron, it is easy to see that he is very careful with his money and investments.

It is always nice to see stories like this. They make millionaires feel a bit more relatable sometimes. What do you think?
