With sports starting to come back, it did not take us long to see the Sabrina Ionescu injury. Basketball comes with all sorts of risks for players. But in this weird year with an already shortened season
LeBron James knows all to well how important health is when playing at the highest level. That must be why he felt the need to reach out after seeing the Sabrina Ionescu injury.
Here was the injury in action.
This kind of injury is common for basketball players. But this one did look more severe. Luckily, all of the x-rays did come back as negative which is great to hear.
LeBron James has been busy trying to get his team back on track now that the season has restarted. There are several questions surrounding the season and whether or not the NBA bubble will work out as planned. So far, so good it seems.
The Los Angeles Lakers pulled out their first victory on Thursday night, narrowly beating their rivals the Los Angeles Clippers. It was thanks to a late bucket by James that they were able to pull out the victory.

Bug man Anthony Davis also had a terrific game, topping 38 points in the victory.
However, surprisingly, the game might not have been the biggest story. With the Black Lives Matter movement taking over the country, many of the players took it to themselves to continue the movement on the court. James talked about what this meant to him.
“A lot of people kind of use this analogy, talking about Black Lives Matter as a movement. It’s not a movement,” James said. “When you’re Black, it’s not a movement. It’s a lifestyle. We sit here and say it’s a movement, and, OK, how long is this movement going to last? ‘Don’t stop the movement.’ No, this is a walk of life. When you wake up and you’re Black, that is what it is. It shouldn’t be a movement. It should be a lifestyle. This is who we are…”
