Los Angeles Lakers vs Oklahoma City Thunder Highlights

The Los Angeles Lakers challenged Oklahoma City Thunder and the highlights of this game only emphasize the strengths and weaknesses of both teams. OKC blew the game wide open against LA in the third quarter. They got out to a 81-66 lead. Chris Paul and Danilo Gallinari scored 16 points apiece and kept the pressure on their opponents. Luguentz Dort guarded LeBron and his teammates didn’t let Anthony Davis go off down low.

Both teams have struggled shooting from beyond the arc. They went a combined 9-for-47 from deep.

Players on both teams had struggles, but Kyle Kuzma came like a real refreshment. The young Laker gave his opponents a big headache after connecting for a three. That’s why the Lakers kept him on the roster. LeBron missed some free throws, and fans started losing hope. Was this game lost at that particular moment?

The Lakers lost to Oklahoma City Thunder despite great highlights

The Lakers had organized their offense but their 3s weren’t falling that easily. OKC gained a big lead and the Lakers didn’t have much time to repair the damage.

Children from LeBron’s “I Promise” school could be seen in the stands in a virtual manner. It was definitely great to see the young faces. LeBron gave these kids the education they need, and their fresh strength definitely cheered up players.

“Special virtual fans behind the Lakers bench today – a group from the LeBron James Family Foundation,” Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks tweeted. “I PROMISE School students (grades 3-6) and staff, Akron I PROMISE program students (grades 7-12), and LeBron’s 330 Ambassadors.”

Rapper Lil Wayne was also “in attendance.” He enjoyed the game and even interacted with other fans.

It was a tough game in every aspect of the word. But, losing a game is nothing but  a motivation for NBA players. Now they have enough time to review their mistakes and finish the season with greater success. Players of all 22 teams came to Orlando to finish the season with a big win. Playing in empty arenas is hard as they are all used to the noise. But, there’s plenty of time for everyone to improve and get used to the situation inside the bubble.
