Patriots New Uniforms Have Twitter Super Confused Over One Aspect

The New England Patriots surprised fans with a fresh batch of photos of Patriots players wearing their new uniforms. The photo gallery attracted everyone’s attention, and it was a good post. “Photos: First look at Patriots in new uniforms, presented by Paycom.”

Well, someone noticed that some of the photos are of the team’s old color rush uniforms. You can tell that by the difference in the number fonts.

“Is it possible that single digits have different fonts than double digit numbers? That would be odd to me. Maybe one of them is a jersey from last years color rush.”

Fans ask if the No.1 on Newton’s jersey is correct. Compare it to the No.1 on Slater’s jersey.

“The new font is the one Slater is wearing,” Zack Cox explained. “Not sure why they’re inconsistent.”

Patriots players to win games in new uniforms

Fans also noted that this isn’t the first time the Patriots have made a mistake while posting photos of players in new uniforms.

“Starting this season, the 2020 blue home uniforms are mostly identical to the “Color Rush” uniforms, with small tweaks made to the fonts on both the numbers and nameplates and red, white, and blue color-blocked socks making their debut. The navy-on-navy combination is then complete with bold red and white stripes on the pants and the sleeves, where the Patriots’ “Flying Elvis” logo is featured prominently.”

Why did Newton get a jersey with the old No.1 font? Hopefully, the team will solve this problem by Sept. 13. The Patriots are playing the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. Miami players will come to Foxboro, and this is an announcement for the tough regular season schedule New England got this year.

This is a rather important season for the Patriots. They have a few obstacles to handle, and players will do that while wearing their new uniforms.
