Paul Pierce Getting Destroyed For His Absurd LeBron James Comment

Paul Pierce likes to say things about Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. He has been doing this for quite some time. Former Boston Celtics players have turned this into a tradition.

Pierce appeared on ESPN’s  First Take and talked about LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. He made these comments after the Game 1 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Pierce said that if the Lakers lose the first round, fans should stop the “GOAT talk.”

“If they don’t win this year — LeBron’s not getting any younger,” Pierce said. “This is going to be a big hit on his legacy. If the Lakers don’t win a championship, let alone lose in the first round, I don’t want to hear none of this G.O.A.T. talk no more.”

The 2018 NBA Finals MVP took to his Twitter account to defend his take on King James.

“Some people just don’t understand Facts. It is what it is.”

Paul Pierce is not a fan of LeBron James

LeBron has lost a lot of Game 1s before and he hasn’t lost the series. It’s time to shut down the whole panic thing. LeBron has just started his postseason, and that’s pretty much everything you should know. He has yet to unleash the beast inside him, and we all know how will things end for LA. The team came to Orlando to win games and they won’t go home without winning the championship.

Let’s not forget that LeBron has never lost a conference quarterfinals. Yes, the Trail Blazers are one of the toughest 8-seed LeBron has ever had, but this is just a game.

We are in the middle of a pandemic and that makes things a lot harder for everyone, including both players and coaches.

Paul won’t stop his criticism here. He will keep saying these things. But, LeBron doesn’t even think of outside noise. He likes to play his game. The Lakers have a really great chance to win a title. It will be great to see them win the title at the end of the season.
