Report: Details Emerge of LeBron James Speech During Yesterday’s Meeting

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is one of the greatest players of all times and his GOAT status was more than obvious during the Lakers meeting. King James led his team during the meeting and walked out of it at one point. He didn’t get the support from most teams. LA Lakers and LA Clippers wanted to bring the playoff run to the end. But, players of every other team wanted to play. It looks like LeBron lost the support from the NBA’s younger players.

“I heard first of all that he was speaking out of pocket and was talking to the players in a fashion that really turned some of these young cats off,” ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith said. “This is a new day. It’s a new generation, and as we have said on previous shows when cats were out on the streets protesting and things of that nature, just talking about the younger generation. They’re not having it anymore.

“Well, guess what? The younger generation of players was not having what they were hearing from LeBron James because of the fashion in which he spoke to them. So when he stormed out of there, I was told it was in part because of that. And he sort of came off like, ‘I got mine. I don’t need this,’ and walked out.”

LeBron James walked out of the meeting

Smith said that LeBron extended the call with NBA owners and even offended other superstars in the league.

“When everybody thought the meeting was over, LeBron James grabs the mic,” Smith added. “And from what I’m told talks for about 15 minutes. And he’s talking about 15 minutes in a fashion that turned everybody off because they had already agreed to what they were going to do moving forward. He was talking about ‘the guys beneath me. I have to look out for the guys beneath me.’ To the point where you have people saying, ‘What the hell you mean beneath you.’ Now, they didn’t say that to him. But they certainly said it to people like myself, Woj (Adrian Wojnarowski) and others who are covering that meeting. He came across as if he was the king with some crown.”

The Milwaukee Bucks were the first team to boycott Game 5 of the first round. The NBA postponed three games and players will have their first games on Saturday. These will be the games they were supposed to play this Wednesday.

LA players are on a good way to win their championship. They are playing their best basketball and everything points to the fact that they will win the championship this season. But, players came to Orlando to deliver a message on police brutality. Their words are hanging in the air, and the shootings didn’t stop.

Jacob Blake is paralyzed from the waist down after a Kenosha police officer shot him in the head. LeBron was frustrated and his teammates couldn’t hide their disappointment. When will the manslaughter stop?
