Report: Patriots Sign Chase Winovich’s Massive College Teammate

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will do whatever it takes to prepare his team for the challenging season. The New England Patriots will play without their star quarterback. Patriots players will see a bigger load this season. That’s why the team went after another big player. According to the most recent reports, the Patriots have signed Chase Winovich’s college teammate. He is a promising player, and the Patriots have to find ways to use his talent on the field.

New England signed former New York Jets offensive lineman Ben Braden. The guard measures at 6 foot 6 and 320 pounds. Braden played collegiate football at Michigan. He and Wino were teammates in 2014 and 2015.

The Patriots have a good offer for Wino’s college teammate

Braden joined the Jets for the 2018-19 seasons. He didn’t have a big role with the team in both seasons. But, the Patriots are more than willing to give him a chance. The Patriots lost a lot of valuable players this summer. some players opted out of the upcoming season and others joined different teams.

Starting right tackle Marcus is a cancer survivor. He won’t join the team in 2020 due to concerns related to the coronavirus pandemic.

Seventh-round pick Dustin Woodard retired from football right before the first padded practice. Reports suggest that the coronavirus was in no way related to his decision.

Mike Reiss from ESPN reported that Braden had joined the team on Monday. He will be wearing No. 62.

Cannon left the Patriots with a few unanswered questions. Of course, the team supports his decision. His decision was probably the biggest concern for the team. Jermaine Eluemunor has been working out with Hjalte Froholdt. Eluemunor was supposed to add depth at guard right behind Joe Thuney and Shaq Mason. If he goes at right tackle, Braden can take another role.

The Patriots had just one padded practice, and they will enter the new season in less than a month. This means that the team is pretty serious about all the roster moves at the moment. Picking the right quarterback is another important topic for the team.
