Russell Westbrook Interrupts LeBron James’ Press Conference

Russell Westbrook respects great talents and he even interrupts LeBron James. It may sound silly, but Westbrook did it. The superstars shared a cool moment today, and media members caught the whole thing on camera. Russ interrupted King James’ media briefing and it was hilarious.

Many would agree that Westbrook is the most intense player in the NBA. Well, he doesn’t have the same attitude off the court. The big Russ is just like any regular player. Yes, the NBA is a brotherhood and players respect each other.

LeBron and Westbrook met and greeted each other and it was awesome. At one point in LeBron’s media interview, Westbrook passed by the king and had a short convo.

“Hey LeBron, how’s it going? Good to see you brother,” Russ asked.

“Hey my guy, hey buddy! I’m good, how you doing? How’s the quad?” the Laker responded.

As you may be guessing, Westbrook’s quad is great. Westbrook sustained an injury in the sixth seeding game in Orlando. The Houston Rockets were playing against the San Antonio Spurs. The team marked him as doubtful for the start of the playoffs. Westbrook’s absence will destroy the Rocket’s chances to smash the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round. He has a big role on the roster, and the Rockets need him.

Russ is a key contributor for Houston. Some fans consider the Rockets to be title contenders. They are 4th seed in the regular season, and their record is 44-28. This game is really important and the whole thing is related to former Rocket Chris Paul.

The Rockets need to make the second round and they need Westbrook to accomplish that. If the team makes the second round, Russ will confront LeBron and his Los Angeles Lakers.

LA plays the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 1of the first round. Let’s not forget that they clinched the top seed in the Western Conference. It’s an easy shot for the team and they have a really great chance to win the championship this season.
