Senior White House Advisor Reveals His Message For LeBron James Overs Playoffs Boycott

The White House has a message for LeBron, it appears. Jared Kushner, one of President Donald Trump’s closest advisers and husband to Ivanka Trump, is attempting to get into contact with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. The Lakers were finally getting back on track after a slow start in the bubble. But now, it looks like the NBA season might be in jeopardy.

NBA players went on strike for the Wednesday playoff games. And apparently, even more shockingly, the Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers voted to cancel the remainder of the season.

LeBron James apparently also would like NBA owners to be more involved in several social justice issues. He also wants them to have a say in police reform, which seems like the biggest issue in this case.

“We need to hold the owners more accountable. They are the ones in the position of power, have the financial resources,” LeBron James reportedly said.

In response, Jared Kushner has now reached out to James personally. He had a few choice words for the NBA players who sat out.

“NBA players are very fortunate that they have the financial position where they’re able to take a night off from work without having to have the consequences to themselves financially,” Kushner said on Thursday.

Kushner did not hold back.

“What I’d love to see from the players in the NBA–again they have the luxury of taking a night off from work, most Americans don’t…I’d like to see them start moving into concrete solutions that are productive,” Kusher added on Thursday morning.

The NBA is at a bit of a cross roads. There are several things that need to be changed. No one can argue that. However, no one is really sure what the NBA players are trying to accomplish with this move either. It seems like we are at a bit of a stand still. Hopefully they are able to figure it out pretty soon. It would be a shame if the NB season is cancelled for good.
