Trail Blazers Suffer Huge Loss as They Lose Key Player for Rest of Season

The bad news won’t stop pouring for the Portland Trail Blazers. The team lost Game 2 to the Los Angeles Lakers, and it looks like the situation won’t get any better than this. After losing the game to LA, Portland got some bad news. It looks like the Blazers will have to cope with the loss of a key player. Are they ready for this?

Blazers big man Zach Collins will miss the rest of the postseason due to an ankle injury. This is probably the worst scenario Portland could get at the moment. But, injuries never “pick” the right time.

Collins missed the first two games of the series due to the injury. He missed a big portion of the regular season due to left labrum surgery. The Blazers couldn’t have him on the floor.

Losing Collins is a big blow for Portland. This may be terrible news for the Blazers but it definitely makes things easier for the Lakers. The 7-foot superstar can knock down the outside shot. LA will no longer have to worry about that.

LA to take advantage of Blazers loss and the absence of a key player

The Lakers have had some issues with big Blazers players. Jusuf Nurkic has a total of 23 rebounds in the first two games. Hassan Whiteside has combined for 17 boards and eight blocks during the same time.

Well, the sun may be shining again for the Blazers. Damian Lillard dislocated his left index finger in Game 2, but he is definitely playing in Game 3. Lillard may be a dangerous threat on the floor. Will the Lakers find the strength to shut him down?

Things are getting really hot in Florida, and NBA players are about to face even greater pressure. Things don’t look too good for some of the teams. Luckily, the Lakers are doing a really great job, and they are on their way to win the big game. LeBron James and Anthony Davis had some struggles in Game 1, but their performance in Game 2 of the series was more than impressive. The only thing we can do right now is just sit back and wait to see what happens next in Orlando.
