Tristan Thompson Gets Hyped While Explaining Why LeBron James Is the Best Player in the NBA
August 1, 2020
LeBron James and his team defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, and the king showed that he is the best player in the NBA. Pretty much every player knows this and some of them even talk about it in front of cameras.
King James put on quite a show on Thursday night, and he finished the game with clutch plays on both ends of the floor. It was a brilliant win, and LeBron’s final shot was more than enough for former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Tristan Thompson to make a statement. Thompson is convinced that LeBron is the best player in the NBA. He was pretty excited about LeBron’s performance.
“LeBron Raymone James Sr. is definitely the best player in the NBA, hands down,” Thompson said. “Loud and proud. Yes, [Marcellus] Wiley, I’m saying it. I’m saying it and everyone knows it. Everyone that watches basketball knows it.”
LeBron showed he is the best player in the NBA
LeBron’s teammate said that the game between both LA teams was the best proof for the king’s dominance.
“We all know LeBron didn’t shoot it great last night,” Thompson said. “He shot 31 percent from the field, but he dominated many aspects. One thing a man told me growing up, ‘Fast horses don’t ride long.’ So with LeBron, first three quarters he wasn’t making shots that he usually makes, defensively he might have missed a couple of his rotations, but fourth quarter when the ball and the game are on the line, that man took that ball and made a play. You see the eyes, eyes of a champion.”
It looks like Thompson will defend LeBron on every possible occasion. He and LeBron spent four seasons in Cleveland and made four NBA Finals appearances. In one of these runs, the team won the title and Thompson will always remember that.
The three-time NBA champion put an end to his second stint with the Cavs and signed a four-year deal with the Lakers in 2018. It was a big move, but Cleveland wished him the best. The king helped them win a title and there’s no room for bitterness this time.
