The Patriots signed Michal Jackson through a trade deal with the Detroit Lions. Head coach Bill Belichick and the Pats are sending an undisclosed selection in the 2022 draft to Detroit. The value of this pick will be on a sliding scale depending on Jackson’s performance. The team didn’t need to make a corresponding roster move as they have four open slots. Eight Patriots players have decided to opt-out of the 2020 season.
