Vanessa Bryant Shares Photo of Lakers’ ‘Black Mamba’ Snakeskin Kobe Bryant Tribute Jerseys

Vanessa Bryant shared photos of the brilliant Kobe Bryant tribute jerseys LA players wear. The Lakers’ Black Mamba jerseys honor the NBA legend who lost his life in a tragic helicopter crash on January 26. Kobe was traveling with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other people, including the pilot. The world is trying to find a way to cope with the loss and every sunrise is here to remind us of the nightmare that shocked the nation earlier this year.

Kobe’s legacy will never disappear and NBA players will keep it alive. The Mamba Mentality is still here, and the Lakers decided to pay a tribute to the icon. This is just another tribute, and Lakers players will keep them coming. According to recent reports, the team will wear the jerseys if they finish the first season with success.

Kobe co-designed the jerseys, allowing the addition of a subtle snakeskin pattern. There are 16 stars on the side, and each of these stands for the titles LA has won in the past.

The No. 24 jerseys had a No. 2 inside a heart for Gigi. The talented girl wore this number at the Mamba Sports Academy.  Gigi was a talented 13-year-old and many had predicted her brilliant future at UCONN and WNBA. Sadly, these predictions will only be a reminder for Gigi’s impeccable talent.

Vanessa shared the photos right after LA confirmed they will wear the black jerseys in honor of her husband.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kyle Kuzma and the rest of the Lakers players are challenging the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the playoffs.  It’s a big game for the team and they have cemented themselves at the top of the Western Conference. Lakers players will win this title for Kobe and that will be the ultimate tribute for the basketball legend.

It’s a challenging season for everyone and NBA players will have to get used to their life inside the bubble in Orlando. Who will go home with a title? LeBron hopes to get his fourth ring. Davis has yet to win his first championship.
