Watch: Cam Newton, Mohamed Sanu Connect On Deep Ball During Latest Workout

Mohamed Sanu had a nice workout with Cam Newton. The New England Patriots have had a very busy off season trying to rebuilt the team. They lost a few key pieces, most notably, legendary quarterback Tom Brady. Fans are ready for the Patriots to get back to the Superbowl, so they have a lot of work to do to make that happen.

One key piece now is Cam Newton, who most believe will take over the starting position in the fall. Not much is known about Newton going into the 2020 season. Injuries have always been an issue for him so it will be interesting to see if he can stay healthy enough.

If practice is any indication, Newton is working well with his receivers. Some players around the team have released some images and videos of workouts.

If they can keep this up, the team is looking pretty good ahead of the 2020 season. The quarterback will be huge this year after a pretty lackluster offensive showing last year.

Some are questioning who else will decide to opt out of the season due to the COVID situation. There have already been several players who have decided sit out the entire season before it even started.

Head coach Bill Belichick talked about his thoughts on the players opting not to play.

“We all have to make decisions,” Belichick said to reporters during a call. “I talked to those guys and they explained their situation, and they had to make the decision that was best for them, and I totally respect and support it 100 percent.”

This is pretty interesting stuff. Obviously everyone wants to play but they do not feel comfortable doing so apparently. We will have to wait and see how it turns out and how much worse the virus gets before the season.

Cam Newton and company are looking strong, however. This season should be much more fun to watch than last season.
