Watch: Lakers Teammates Celebrate Kyle Kuzma’s Game-Winner in Locker Room

Los Angeles Lakers played against the Denver Nuggets on Monday night and forward Kyle Kuzma was in the spotlight for drilling an amazing game-winner.

After the game, Kuzma and the teammates celebrated in the locker room.

Take a look:

The Lakers youngster definitely needed the praise and attention. The 25-year-old has had a rough 2019-20 campaign.

The forward is averaging career-lows across the board with 12.6 points, 4.5 boards and 1.3 assists per contest this season. However, it looks like he’s well adjusting inside the NBA bubble in Orlando, Fla.

The third-year pro put up 25 points, six rebounds and three assists in the Lakers’ 124-121 win over the Nuggets. But none of those can compare with his final game-winner.

He showed that he’s a great addition to the team. When asked why he chose to join the Lakers, Kuzma said:

“I think timing is everything. For me to be in this position now, the excitement that I have to be a Laker, I’m happy to be apart of it because I believe the Lakers is a historical franchise, we all know that, but it’s a championship franchise and that’s what we’re trying to get back to. I’m happy to be a part of the culture and be a part of us getting back to that point.”

Although the Lakers are the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, they still haven’t shown their star performance in the NBA’s bubble. Before Monday’s win against the Nuggets, the Lakers had a three-game losing streak.

They will face the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.
