Watch: LeBron James Duplicates Andre Iguodala Chase-Down Block vs Kyle Lowry

LeBron James is very much known for his run down block. With the NBA finally back in full swing, it did not take long for us to see the old LeBron back. The Lakers took on the Toronto Raptors yesterday. This was the second game of the new NBA bubble.

Unfortunately, this game did not work out as well as the first, with the Lakers falling to the Raptors late in the fourth. But that doesn’t mean we did not see some glimmers of excellence.

LeBron gave us one of his famous blocks from behind.

Here is a side by side of one of LeBron’s past blocks, his signature move.

That is some championship level defense. Unfortunately, it was not enough to take the victory. LeBron had some comments about the Raptors team.

“I think it’s a great team. They won a championship for a reason. It wasn’t just all solely because of Kawhi [Leonard] and obviously you see that. They’ve got the two-headed monsters in Fred [VanVleet] and Kyle [Lowry] that set the tone. Their wings are extremely good in Pascal [Siakam] and OG [Anunoby]. They’ve got experience in the frontcourt at the centre position in Marc [Gasol] and Serge [Ibaka] and then they’ve got a bunch of complementary guys. That’s why they’ve been the team they’ve been all year.”

He went on to say “The media may not give them as much credit because Kawhi is gone, but players know what type of team they are.”

This is a fair assessment. The Lakers played pretty well and still came out with a loss. They will need to get back on track soon as they don’t have too many games left.

Many fans are expecting the Lakers to get the the Western Conference finals, if not the finals. This would be a big step up from the disappointment last season.

The COVID-19 crisis has made sports very difficult to get back on track. The NBA bubble is working pretty well so far. Hopefully it can continue to work out well and we can keep the NBA coming.
