Anthony Davis Reacts to Lakers’ Game 1 Win vs Nuggets

Anthony Davis had a massive game for the Los Angeles in Game 1 vs the Denver Nuggets. They were trying to get back on track as they have struggled with Game 1s in the past. When playing both the Portland Trailblazers and the Houston Rockets, the Lakers failed to take game 1. But they were not going to let this happen for a 3rd time.

This was, in large part, thanks for Anthony Davis’s huge game. The Los Angeles Lakers were great on Friday night. They won 126-114 over the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. Even with the huge game, Anthony Davis was not exactly in a good mood after the match up. He knows how long there is before they are ready to celebrate.

It is pretty obvious, based on what he said after the game, that he is not going to be letting up. He still has his eyes only on the big goal, which is winning a title. Just because they won game 1, does not mean they won anything in his eyes.

Anthony Davis Reacts to Lakers’ Game 1 Win vs Nuggets

Davis was amazing in the Lakers win against the Nuggets. He absolutely dominated on both ends of the floor last night. Davis finished with a whopping 37 points on 12-of-21 shooting. He also had 10 rebounds and 4 assists. It was pretty obvious that the Nuggets had no answer for Davis on the defensive and offensive side of the floor.

Davis also did a great job on defending Nikola Jokic, which was a big question mark going into the series. He also had foul trouble for much of the game. He also got a lot of help from fellow big men JaVale McGee and Dwight Howard. It was very much a team effort for the Lakers. And a team win.

But still, just like he said in his video, this is no time to let down. If anything, this is the time to put the foot on the gas. In the Nuggets first two rounds, they went down 3-1 before coming back and winning the series. This means that it is truly not over until it is over.
