Cam Newton Has ‘Cute’ Response to Question About His Completion Rate

The New England Patriots didn’t make a mistake this summer. Head coach Bill Belichick signed Cam Newton to a one-year deal and the quarterback has amazing completion rate. The 2015 NFL MVP doesn’t make any excuses and he plays great football despite all the criticism pointed in his direction. Newton is here to make a statement and his excellent performance is the best proof of that.

The Patriots quarterback has completed 71 percent of his throws. Well, the quarterback has a few other things to work on. According to him, winning a game is more important than hitting a cool completion rate.

Newton doesn’t really like talking about his individual accomplishments this season. He keeps saying that it’s early in the season. From what we can see, Newton is focused on one number. He doesn’t see beyond the win column.

Cam Newton doesn’t even think of his completion rate

The former Carolina Panthers quarterback is all about winning games and bonding with his teammates. He has nothing but words of praise for N’Keal Harry and we saw him wear a shirt from veteran wideout Julian Edelman. Newton also handed the ball to David Andrews to spike after his second touchdown in Week 1. Yes, Newton does his best to create great chemistry with his teammates. He appreciates the chance New England gave him.

Most NFL critics slammed Newton in training camp. Analysts weren’t really thrilled about his arrival in New England. But, Patriots players really like him.

Patriots captain Matthew Slater talked about Newton’s readiness to grasp the playbook.

New England plays the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3. They may not be able to contain the Raiders’ running game. Josh Jacobs may be a big challenge if he sees action. The Raiders will come packed with dynamic weapons in the passign game. Darren Waller and Henry Ruggs are troublemakers. But, Vegas has one weak spot. Defense.
