LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the rest of the Lakers players will do their best to win Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. According to Charles Barkley, LA will finish this game with a win.
Barkley is an all-time great, and he is definitely one of the best players to ever hit the basketball court. Chuck, the NBA on TNT analyst, shares a completely different story.
The Los Angeles Lakers lead the Nuggets 3-1 in the series. Winning this game will send them straight to the 2020 NBA Finals. This would be the Lakers 32nd NBA Finals Appearance. The Nuggets may not be the best team in the NBA, but they are definitely a big threat for the Lakers.
Charles Barkley is right about LA Lakers winning Game 5
Denver lost two games in the WFC and then surprised Lakers fans with a big win. The team has overcame a 3-1 deficit twice. Will they do that again? No other NBA team has accomplished this in the same postseason run. The Nuggets have a really big chance to surprise LA.
Anthony Davis sustained an ankle injury in Game 4 and he entered this game with soreness. LeBron has a sore thigh, too. But, these two are ready to win and they do their best to keep the buckets coming.
Let’s not forget that LeBron has a 14-0 record when his teams have held a 3-1 series advantage.
King James is averaging 32.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game in two “closeout” games for the Lakers this postseason.
“Our group’s demeanor in all of these playoff games has been to treat everyone like a must-win,” Lakers coach Frank Vogel said Friday. “I would say that same mindset has applied to the close-out games we had against Houston and Portland, and we know those are always the most difficult wins to get in a series, and we expect this to be no different.”
Los Angeles defeated its toughest opponents thanks to the chemistry between LeBron and Davis. Lakers players play really well together, and this team has a better connection than last year’s team.
