Colin Cowherd Sums Up Patriots’ Win Over Raiders in Three Words

Colin Cowherd had a few words on the New England Patriots win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. The Patriots looked pretty good in their whopping of the Raiders on Sunday. Cam Newton and the offense once again got in a rhythm and were able to make some noise. This is a big difference as to what happened last season.

Head coach Bill Belichick has been very excited about Cam Newton and what he brings to the table. Ever since he was signed, it has been clear that Newton has what it takes to be successful. He talked about what he had seen from Newton in the past during training camp.

“He’s come in and do everything we’ve asked him to do,” Belichick said. “He works had. He’s obviously a very talented player and looking forward to continue to work with him. We’ll just take it day-by-day, but he’s given us everything he’s had and we’ve tried to put the team in the best position we can competitively. We’ll see how that all comes out. I’m sure a lot of things will change as the season goes along. We are where we are for right now and just keep trying to get better every day.”

But the Patriots front office are not the only ones who think that the Patriots are doing quite well. Colin Cowherd, who is known for his outlandish opinions, has a few words on the Patriots now.

He recently came out with a simple 3 word thought on the Patriots and what they are currently doing.

“Yes they Cam,” Cowherd said back on Monday during his show. “Season-high 250 rushing yards, 30-plus points in the last two games. This was all Rex Burkhead, Sony Michel, young kid named (J.J.) Taylor, small running back out of the backfield. First week and this week, Cam Newton and the running game delivered.”
