Dwight Howard Sends Savage Message as Lakers Lock in for Houston Rockets Series

Dwight Howard has come out with a savage message before the Los Angeles Lakers game with the Houston Rockets. The Lakers are doing their best to prepare for the series. This can be rather difficult with such a long break between games. They have not played in awhile. The Houston Rockets just finished up their series with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 7 games.

But the Lakers have shown time and time again that they are not worried about what the Rockets bring to the table. The Rockets are a good team. They are very good at the outside shot and love to run on offense. But for most of the season, they failed to do much of anything on defense. This seemed to change against the Thunder. They looked like one of the best defenses in the league.

All of this does not scare the Lakers though. From what it seems, they are more ready than ever to get back on the court and start beating some heads in.

Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets have some history. Take a look at what Dwight Howard said on Instagram for example. From what it seems, they are ready for the Rockets and will not have any problems getting to the Western Conference Finals. Granted, they have yet to prove this.

For the Rockets, they just got out of a tough season against the OKC Thunder. James Harden, one Rocket star, explained game 7 and what he though about it.

“Offensively, I played like s—. Excuse my language,” Harden said during an interview immediately after the game. “I couldn’t hit a shot. I turned the ball over. Just doing everything that’s not supposed to happen, but I just kept sticking with it. My teammates gave me confidence throughout the course of the game, and defensively I had to make a play.”

This will be a fun and interesting series. People tend to think that the Lakers will roll and that is understandable. If the Lakers are at full strength and play to what they are capable of, then there should be no issues. But if they come out like round one, then there could be issues.

What do you think about this series?
