Former NBA Champion Makes a Strong Remark on LeBron James-Michael Jordan GOAT Debate

A former NBA champion has weighed in on the LeBron James vs Michael Jordan debate. The Los Angeles Lakers have officially made if to the NBA Finals after many years of failing to even make the playoffs. This is looking good for Laker fans, who expected this kind of run going into the season.

And most of the Laker’s success is thanks to LeBron James. He and his teammates have been working hard to prove that they are the best team in the NBA. Just take a look what Anthony Davis had to say about LeBron after their game 5 win against the Denver Nuggets.

“We’ve had so many great Lakers that I’ve been around — Magic (Johnson), Shaq (O’Neal), Kobe, Pau Gasol — Hall of Famers,” Buss said. “(James is) such a strong presence. His leadership is really something so unique. He’s fearless, and I really feed off of that. His strength empowers me, and I’m sure that’s how the rest of the team feels. He’s not afraid to face any foe. … I’m so proud of him. “

“But I think what I most appreciate about him, and what I’ve learned from him, is about accountability. The way he can call out hypocrisy, or people who aren’t living up to a standard — that, I really appreciate in him. … He delivers on his promise, and he expects everybody else to. And when you have a team, and the guy who’s leading your team holds that standard, then it makes everybody else have to be accountable and live up to the bar that he set.”

With this kind of praise also comes the haters. There has been a debate for a long time on who is the best to ever play the game between LeBron and Michael Jordan. Now, former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins has come out with some words on the matter.

“Y’all some haters! Because If I go argue with my grandfather and some of his friends about the best they saw, It used to be Kareem, Wilt, Bill Russell. Jordan was never in the conversation. So move down 10 years later, now I am talking to you Stephen A and Max, now all of a sudden it’s Jordan”

“So ya’ll will never give the props to the younger generation…You’ll are haters! Michael Jordan and LeBron James are sitting at the same dinner table…there’s no gap! Both of these guys, you can close your eyes and say just pick one. Their resume is equal, it matches up.”
