Former Teammate Reveals Why Paul Pierce is Always Against LeBron James

NBA fans have noticed the “thing” between Paul Pierce and LeBron James. There’s nothing positive about their relationship. Moreover, many would say that Pierce hates the Los Angeles Lakers superstar.

ESPN’s release of The Last Dance opened an old wound and Paul made a horrible comment. He said, “I go back and I ask myself, ‘What has LeBron done to build up any organization from the ground floor?’”

Paul’s hatred has been a topic in the past few months. Antoine Walker took notice of this and he trashed almost every rumor. Walker is convinced that LeBron and Pierce respect each other.

“No I don’t think he hates LeBron,” he said on Heavy Live with Scoop B. “I think he respects LeBron.”

Paul Pierce respects LeBron James

LeBron is the greatest of all time and every NBA fan knows it. But, Pierce has something else to say. He’d never describe LeBron as the GOAT. He doesn’t even believe that LeBron is better than him.

“Me knowing Paul’s competitive drive, Paul doesn’t believe LeBron’s that much better than him,” Walker said. “And I do believe that.”

Walker spoke how “underrated” Pierce is. He should have received the same recognition as Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Pierce was a talented player and many young athletes looked up to him.

“People gotta go back and look at prime Paul Pierce,” Walker said. “And I think because he won it with KG [Kevin Garnett] and Ray [Allen] he doesn’t get the same credit as other guys. But if I remember, Paul Pierce was the MVP of the Finals, Paul Pierce was still that guy when those guys came on that team.”

Pierce won a lot of games with the Boston Celtics and fans respect his championship wins. Let’s not forget that Pierce is also a 10-time NBA All-Star. Pierce won the Finals MVP Award in 2008 despite the talent-packed lineup.

Will this add fuel to the fire? Will Pierce respond to Walker’s comments? Maybe they will even attract LeBron’s attention. Well, the king is focused on winning games right now. He is off to winning his fourth championship.
