Frank Vogel Gives Injury Updates on LeBron James And Anthony Davis

Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel provided injury updates on his superstars ahead of Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. Lakers big man Anthony Davis suffered a terrible ankle injury in the fourth quarter of Game 4 against the Denver Nuggets. He rolled the ankle pretty badly, but it looks like this injury won’t affect his game on Saturday.

According to the head coach Davis and LeBron experience some soreness. However they are ready to play and eventually finish the series with a win over Denver. Davis’ ankle injury looked scary. Vogel said that King James got kneed in the thigh.

Davis’ situation was more concerning than LeBron’s hit. The ankle injury was awful and it definitely gave Lakers fans a scare. Davis was in pain but he stood up and finished the game with an alley oop and a couple of shots.

“My ankle feels fine,” the Lakers big man said following the big win. “I’ve got tonight, tomorrow, before the game to get it back to where it is, but it’s good enough to play. I rolled it pretty bad, but not too bad. I’ll be fine.”

Fans aren’t worried about LeBron’s status. It’s almost impossible to imagine LeBron sitting out an important game. Winning Game 5 will send LeBron and his team straight to the NBA Finals. The four-time NBA champion wouldn’t miss this for anything in the world. That’s why he came to LA, right?

LeBron and Davis lead the team to the top. LA hasn’t made the NBA Finals in a decade. These two will make things better and hopefully, LA will return home with a win.

Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic, and the Denver Nuggets play really well, but their efforts don’t seem to affect LeBron’s determination to win. Davis is off to winning his first title and you can already understand his motivation, right?

Lakers players feel and look good and we can’t wait for them to take the court again. It’s an important game for the Lakers nation.
