Kyle Kuzma Warns Media Not To ‘Mess Up’ MVP Voting Like They Did With DPOY

Los Angeles Lakers star Kyle Kuzma had a bold message for the media and it’s related to the NBA MVP voting.

The Lakers forward clarified his stance on who should win the individual award. He warned the media not to “mess up” the voting. He was definitely referring to the NBA’s decision to name Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo  Defensive Player of the Year over Lakers big man Anthony Davis.

Kuzma is in his third year with the Lakers. He roots for Lakers superstar LeBron James. Well, some people say that Giannis should win the award.

Kyle Kuzma got the attention of the media

This will be LeBron’s fifth MVP award. He deserves the honor for all the great things he did on the floor. In his 67 games in the 2019-20 season, LeBron was averaging 25.3 points on 49.3 percent shooting from the field and 34.8 percent from beyond the arc. King James was averaging career-high and league-leading 10.2 assists, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in his 34.6 minutes per game.

The three-time NBA champion would like to win the MVP award for the season, but he doesn’t think of this. He is more focused on the GOAT title.

“Winning MVP has never motivated me,” LeBron said in March. “The regular season MVP has never motivated me. To be the best? To be the best to ever play the game is what’s motivating me.”

The Los Angeles Lakers finished the season with 52-19 overall record. They clinched the top seed in the West. They also won the first playoff series against the Portland Trail Blazers. LeBron James and his team are now leading the Houston Rockets in the second round 2-1/

King James was a dominant force in the playoffs. Giannis and his team were eliminated in five games in the second round of the playoffs. It will be a big battle for the Lakers and players did their best to come this far. Preventing injuries is a priority now. A single fracture can change everything. LeBron almost fractured his thumb in Game 3 of the series.
