Lakers Release Critical Injury Report for Game 1 of NBA Finals

The Los Angeles Lakers injury report has been released ahead of Game 1 of the NBA Finals and it is very interesting to say the least. LeBron James and the Lakers were finally able to close out the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets. They are now looking at the Miami Heat as their opponent in the NBA Finals and it should be a great series.

Many questions were surrounding the Lakers and their ability to keep their head on straight in the NBA Playoffs. Living in a bubble of sorts for almost 3 months now has definitely had an impact on the players. Not only that, but the social injustice has also had an impact. Just take a look at what LeBron said recently.

“I’ve never in my 35 years ever condoned violence,” James said in a videoconference. “Never have. But I also know what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong, and I grew up in the inner city in a Black community in what we call the hood or the ghetto, however you want to picture it. I’ve seen a lot of counts first hand of a lot of Black people being racially profiled because of our color. And I’ve seen it throughout my whole life. I’m not saying that all cops are bad because, I actually throughout high school and things of that nature, I’m around them all the time and they’re not all bad.”

“But when you see the videos that’s going on and you can see all over the — not only my hometown, but all over America — you continue to see the acts of violence towards my kind, I can’t do nothing but to speak about it and see the common denominator. But not one time have I ever said, ‘Let’s act violent towards cops.’ I just said that what’s going on in our community is not okay and we fear for that and we fear for our lives.”

Well, hopefully they are able to keep their head in it for the Finals. Now, the Lakers organization has released the injury report ahead of Game 1 against the Heat.

There are a lot of people on the list but they all sound like they are going to play. It would be devastating if some of these players were not able to play. What do you think about the injuries? Do you think all of them will play?
