LeBron James’ Curt Answer When Asked About Not Facing Kawhi Leonard and Clippers

LeBron James will not be facing the Clippers in the Western Conference Finals this season. The Los Angeles Lakers are absolutely brimming with talent. just about any game they are playing, they will be the most talent tea on the floor. But many NBA experts thought the the in town rival Clippers had a better chance to get to the Finals this season. In fact, more than you would think.

But it was not meant to be, it seems. The Clippers failed to get past even the second round the the NBA Playoffs this season. They were ahead of the Denver Nuggets 3-1. After going ahead, they lost 3 straight games and were knocked out of the bubble for good. Now, the Lakers and Nuggets will face each other in the Western Conference Finals.

The Lakers are easily the better and more talented team. However, the Nuggets have nothing at all to lose and therefore, are very dangerous. They also have a great head coach in Mike Malone. It should be a very interesting series if the Nuggets can keep it close.

LeBron James’ Curt Answer When Asked About Not Facing Kawhi Leonard and Clippers

LeBron was asked about how he felt about not facing the Clippers in the WCS.

“Were you surprised?” James was asked during a press conference.

“Nah, I don’t have a comment about it,” James responded. “I was just sitting back and watching the game from a fan’s perspective, seeing big shots being made, big plays being made, missed shots, things of that nature, but also as a scout, scouting both teams at the same time. I was trying to get as many log in minutes for myself personally, scouting both teams at the same time because we knew Game 7 would decide who we’d play. So that was kinda my mindset.”

“Was there anybody that was caught up in the L.A. – you had a chance to face those guys and kind of settle it – that’s something we talk about,” James was asked.

“Nah. What were we settling?” James answered.

It sounds like he is keeping his mind of who DID make the Finals.
