LeBron James Delivers Kobe Bryant-Esque Message After Reaching NBA Finals

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are back in the NBA Finals afer quite a long break. This is exactly what the Laker fans were expecting. The Western Conference Finals were a battle against the Denver Nuggets. Luckily, the Lakers were able to come back on top. And it is thanks in large part due to the play of LeBron James. He has been great in the Playoffs so far.

But basketball is not the only thing that has been on his mind recently. He has been talking a lot about what has been going on in the world recently. Whether it is BLM or COVID, LeBron has been huge on his words and opinions on the matter. Take a look at what he had to say about the BLM recently.

“I’ve never in my 35 years ever condoned violence,” James said in a videoconference. “Never have. But I also know what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong, and I grew up in the inner city in a Black community in what we call the hood or the ghetto, however you want to picture it. And I’ve seen a lot of counts first hand of a lot of Black people being racially profiled because of our color. And I’ve seen it throughout my whole life. And I’m not saying that all cops are bad because, I actually throughout high school and things of that nature, I’m around them all the time and they’re not all bad.”

“But when you see the videos that’s going on and you can see all over the — not only my hometown, but all over America — you continue to see the acts of violence towards my kind, I can’t do nothing but to speak about it and see the common denominator. But not one time have I ever said, ‘Let’s act violent towards cops.’ I just said that what’s going on in our community is not okay and we fear for that and we fear for our lives.”

But now they are in the Finals. LeBron made sure that we did not forget that they still have work to go.

And here is the look from the Laker’s big man.

The Lakers are finally back where the fans expected them to be. It has been great to see them be so successful so far in the playoffs. Hopefully they are able to win the Title for the first time in many years.
