LeBron James Fires Back at Colby Covington UFC Post-Match Tirade

LeBron James was once again at the receiving end of a shot from Colby Covington. The Los Angeles Lakers with LeBron James and Anthony Davis are currently trying to get rid of the Denver Nuggets. This will be a difficult task for the Lakers as the Nuggets have a well coached team with almost nothing to lose. They will likely be giving everything they can to the Lakers.

LeBron does have some beef, however. This should be enough to keep his mind focused. LeBron James was very angry with the MVP voters and he let his mind be known.

“Pissed me off. That’s my true answer,” James said after the game 1 against the Nuggets. “It pissed me off, because out of 101 votes, I got 16 first-place votes. That’s what pissed me off more than anything.

“You know, not saying that the winner wasn’t deserving of the MVP. But that pissed me off. And I finished second a lot in my career, either from a championship, and now four times as an MVP.”

It looks like LeBron will have some extra motivation now. UFC’s Colby Covington has called him out. Take a look:

Covington: I want to dedicate this fight to all the first responders, all the military out there. This world would not be safe without you guys, you keep us safe, and not these woke athletes. I'm sick of these spineless cowards like LeBron James #UFCVegas11

Ladies and gentleman, it shouldn’t be a surprise. Just look at what else he said:

“Ladies and gentlemen, the silent majority is ready to make some noise,” Covington said while wearing an American flag draped around his shoulders. “If you thought that was a beating, wait until Nov. 3 when Donald Trump gets his hands on sleepy Joe. That’s going to be a landslide.”

After he said all of this stuff, President Trump himself gave him a call.

“I’m proud of you man. I’m a big fan and I’m proud of you,” Trump told Covington. “You’re tough, you have the right spirits. So now go win the next one, and keep it for a long time. Just keep that championship for a long time. You are something … I appreciated the shout out tonight, too. I’m your fan, you’re my fan. Two of a kind, two of a kind.”
