Magic Johnson Reacts To Lakers Winning Game 2 vs Houston Rockets

The Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Houston Rockets could end up being a very interesting series to watch. Most would admit that the Lakers are very clearly the more talented team on paper. With LeBron James and Anthony Davis, it should be no shock that they are one of the most talented teams in the entire league by a large margin. But that does not mean they can win every game just by showing up.

We have seen this two times already with the Lakers. The Portland Trail Blazers were quick to show them that they can lose if they are not careful. And lost they did in game one. Then, we saw this attitude show up again when the Lakers failed to do much of anything offensively in game 1 vs. the Rockets.

Now, it again looks like they were able to get back on track and it will be interesting to see if they are able to stay on this track. The Houston Rockets are very much capable of huge games if the Lakers are not careful.

Magic Johnson Reacts To Lakers Winning Game 2 vs Houston Rockets

Now, one of the Laker legends has come out with his 2 cents on watching the Lakers win game 2. Magic Johnson came out with something that we were all thinking.

“The @Lakers tonight led by their two superstars, LeBron James with 28 points and AD with 34, tied the series 1-1,” Magic said. “The 4th quarter defense was superb and they got strong contributions from their bench led by Rajon Rondo, Kyle Kuzma, and Markieff Morris.”

Adding to what he said, if they can play like this every night, then I am not sure if they would lose another game. With the Milwaukee Bucks struggling against the Miami Heat, the Lakers could easily turn into the number one seed soon.

If this happens, there will be even more pressure on them to go far in the Playoffs. This is something that they have failed to do in past years. It seems like it has been ages since the Lakers managed to make any noise at all in the Playoffs.

Laker fans will be ready to see what they bring to the court in Game 3. Do you think they can pull out the victory?
