Cam Newton likes his outfit. The New England Patriots are ready to start the season in a big way against the Miami Dolphins. The Patriots have been having a huge off season which is finally coming to an end. Newton is expected to be a huge part of the Patriots offense this season. The offense last season was less than spectacular and they were in need of changes.

Luckily, after the walking of Tom Brady to Tampa Bay, the Patriots were able to fill a big hole from the off season. Newton is a former NFL MVP that could be a huge addition to the offense. He obviously had some less than stellar seasons which has been noted. But when he is playing at the top of his game, he is a game changer.

“We wanted to add competition,” Belichick said. “We always try to add competition to our team, and we felt like we’d be able to do that. He was very open to talking about and working with our situation. We were able to work things out. We’ll just take it day by day and see how it goes. I’m glad we have him.

“It’s been fun to work with him. He’s a very talented player with a unique skillset. Again, we’ll see where it all goes, but he’s got a lot to work with.”

NFL football is finally back and it should be the start of a great season for the Patriots. Newton is expected to be great and if he can be, the Patriots have a huge shot of going far in the playoffs.
