Shaquille O’Neal & Charles Barkley React to LeBron James, Lakers Beating Nuggets
The Los Angeles Lakers won Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley shared their thoughts on LeBron James and his big win.
Lakers big man Anthony Davis finished the game with 34 points, five rebounds, and three steals. LeBron James scored 26 points, nine boards, and eight assists. They helped the Lakers come back and take a 3-1 series lead over the Denver Nuggets. It as an amazing 114-108 win for LA. Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic played excellent basketball, but the Lakers found a way to shut them down. LeBron even agreed to guard Murray. According to Rajon Rondo, this was the best moment of the game. LeBron’s initiative was of key importance for LA.
“I think it changed when LeBron went to Murray,” Rondo praised his teammate. “A [6-foot-8] guy, a physical player on him. It was tough to make those shots he’s made on all the small guards. Bron took the challenge and set the tone and we were able to get some stops and get out and run.”
Are Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley right about LA?
The Lakers are one win away from making the NBA Finals. They are about to smash the number three seed Nuggets and move on to the big game. Teams will meet for another incredible game on Saturday night. If LA wins, they are going straight to the finals. If Denver wins, we will be watching another long season.
Inside the NBA crew, Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson Jr., discussed the Lakers’ win in Game 4.
Barkley has made some pretty awkward comments on LeBron. He said that Kobe Bryant is the only player to come close to Michael Jordan. “I consider LeBron as great as he is, I think he’s more of a Magic Johnson type of guy because the other two guys would kill you. They’re not worried about having friends. They just want to kick your ****.”
LeBron and his teammates don’t pay too much attention to this. They are focused on finishing the series on Saturday.
