Shaquille O’Neal Reveals His Pick For The NBA’s MVP

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Bucks won the NBA’s 2019-20 MVP award. The voting was far from close and many fans disapprove of the final decision. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James finished second and saw just 16 of 101 first-place votes. The four-time NBA MVP didn’t like the results, and his response was loud and clear. NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal shared his thoughts on the MVP winner.

LeBron would have expected a different outcome.

“Pissed me off. That’s my true answer,” LeBron said after the Game 1 win in the Western Conference Finals. “It pissed me off, because out of 101 votes, I got 16 first-place votes. That’s what pissed me off more than anything. You know, not saying that the winner wasn’t deserving of the MVP. But that pissed me off. And I finished second a lot in my career, either from a championship, and now four times as an MVP.”

Some fans say Giannis had every right to win the award. But, Shaq supports the Lakers superstar. The basketball icon appeared on Inside the NBA and said that LeBron is the best player in the league. Giannis had a more-impressive regular season as suggested by stats, but LeBron is the GOAT. That’s why he should win the MVP award.

Shaquille O’Neal is right about his MVP comments

LeBron may be frustrated, but he has a bigger priority right now. Giannis’ team disappeared from the playoffs. LeBron’s Lakers have a chance to win a championship. What does that say about the king and his leadership skill?

The Lakers defeated Denver in Game 1, and it was an easy win. Players will try to do the same Sunday. LeBron will soon win his fourth NBA title and this is his 10th NBA Finals appearance.

Letting the NBA MVP award slip down his hands will be an excellent motivation for King James. The Lakers play an excellent game this season, and every player contributes to great success. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel likes the game his players have on the floor and he hopes to see the same performance tonight.
