Vanessa Bryant Responds To The Claims Made By Her Mother

Vanessa Bryant took notice of the comments her mother, Sofia Lane, made recently. Kobe Bryant’s wife couldn’t really believe that her mother would do an interview to complain about money. Kobe and Gigi died in January, and Vanessa is still grieving. Dealing with something like this is the last thing she needs at the moment.

Laine accused Vanessa of kicking her out of the house and asked for the car keys.

“She told me, ‘I need you to get out of this house.’” Laine told Univision reporter Dave Valadez on El Gorda y La Flaca on Monday. “She also told me that she wanted her car and she wants it now.”

Vanessa Bryant says her mother was never around

Vanessa heard of the interview, and released a statement to deny all the claims her mother made.

“My husband and daughter passed away unexpectedly, and yet my mother had the audacity to do a television interview speaking negatively of me while shedding tears for a car and a house that were not in her name. She has removed all her diamond jewelry, emptied the apartment I provided, and put away the furniture to make it look like she doesn’t have my support.

“My husband and I have supported her financially for the past 20 years, and continue to do so, in addition to her monthly alimony.”

Vanessa also denied the claim that Sofia had been supporting her and her daughters following the tragic crash.

According to Vanessa, Sofia was not physically or emotionally supportive of the girls and her after Kobe died. “Now I see what is most important to my mother and it’s more than painful,” Vanessa finished her statement.

Dealing with statements of this kind is really painful, and Vanessa doesn’t need that at the moment. She is still trying to find the strength to move on. This woman has to live with the death of her husband and baby girl. Hopefully, the saga will end here. The Bryant family doesn’t want to be involved in anything like this.
