Video: LeBron James Destroys Russell Westbrook With Filthy Poster Dunk

LeBron James just reminded Russell Westbrook who they were going against with a nasty dunk. The Los Angeles Lakers once again should up slow and unready. Because of this, the lost their second Game 1 in a row. Only this time, it could spell trouble for the team if they do not quickly get it under control. The Houston Rockets were quick to prove that they can hang with the number 1 seed.

We have had this conversation before. After the Lakers game 1 loss versus the Portland Trail Blazers, a lot of people were wondering if the Lakers have what it takes to make it far in the Playoffs. This time feels different though. The Lakers simply got beat by the team that showed up. This does not seem like a championship team right now.

Regardless, that does not mean that the Lakers failed to do anything spectacular. LeBron had a amazing dunk over future Hall of Famer Russell Westbrook. Take a look.

Pretty good stuff from LeBron. Unfortunately for the Lakers, however, this was not enough to get him over the hump. The Houston Rockets were just better, it is as simple as that.

Frank Vogel talked about what he though was the problem after the game. A lot of people noticed that Rajan Rondo, who has been injured, did not play very well. He stuck up for his point guard.

“Rajon is one of the smartest players in the league, and obviously our guys’ IQ raises when he’s on the court, so he’s definitely going to help us this series,” Vogel said.

Anthony Davis also had his point guard’s back.

“He’s a great player and a very cerebral player, so he knows the game very well,” Davis said. “I don’t think it’ll take that much time to get him back acclimated with the team. He made some shots today, made some good plays for us.

“Game conditioning is tough and when you haven’t played, and then your first game is in the Western semis. We’ll get him back acclimated with the team and just try to play from there.”
