Watch: LeBron James Goes Down With Scary Injury in Game 1 vs. Denver Nuggets

LeBron James had a pretty scary injury in game 1 against the Denver Nuggets. The Los Angeles Lakers were able to take Game 1 against the Nuggets with relative ease. They did not struggle the in same ways they had in previous Game 1s. Against both the Portland Trailblazers and the Houston Rockets, the Lakers dropped game 1, which means they had to fight back.

But in this game, the Lakers started off huge. They were able to get a pretty good lead which was too much for the Nuggets to bounce back from. LeBron was pretty good in the game, as we would expect. There were also a lot of questions on Anthony Davis and his ability to guard Nugget’s big Nikola Jokic. But they were able to keep him humbled.

But it was not all good news for the Lakers, who have struggled with injuries since the season began almost a year ago.

Not too long after the second quarter of Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets started, the arena fell silent.

The Lakers leader and NBA Allstar LeBron James appeared to have sprained his ankle.

You could tell how much pain LeBron was in when he was shooting his free throws. He went one of two from the free throw line. But he did bounce back and seemed fine afterwards. He threw down a huge dunk on the next possession.

LeBron is regarded by many NBA fans as one of the best to ever play the game. One of the reasons he is looked at as the best is due to his ability to stay healthy.

Even though this is his 17th season, and 35 years old, he is playing just about as well as he ever has. This should bode well for the Lakers when they finally get to the Finals.

He was also voted to the NBA First Team for the 16th time, which is an NBA record as well. What do you think about this injury?
